For the past few years, the staff of OSLC have participated in Lent Madness, a fun (and a touch silly) take on the traditional March Madness brackets, but featuring various Saints and other prominent figures. This year, we invite the congregation to play along with us beginning February 17th, and see who will win the Golden Halo!
Each day during Lent there will be a competition between different saints (we vote online to choose the winner each day at www.lentmadness.org). We then follow along, with your bracket gaining points for each correct guess you make. There will be informational pieces for each saint that we will be adding to this page, so stay tuned! A sample bracket is below, and paper copies can be found in the Social Hall!
We will also be doing a study on Sunday Mornings beginning February 14th at 9:30 AM in the social hall. This study will be discussing some Biblical saints, focusing on why we should study the saints. Pastor Dave will have more details in the weeks to come, so keep your eyes peeled, your ears open, and your minds open to this exciting (and ridiculous) opportunity!
