Kathleen Ulland-Klinkner, Senior Pastor
kathy@oursaviorsnewulm.org Pastor Kathy joined Our Saviors as senior pastor in December 2019. She served as the Director of Youth and Education Ministries at Our Savior’s from 1988-2011. Kathy grew up on a farm near Blooming Prairie and is a graduate of St. Olaf College. She attended Luther Seminary while working at Our Savior’s as Director of Youth and Education. Upon receiving her Master of Divinity, her first call was to Augustana/East Sveadahl Ministries in St. James. Kathy is married to Gregg and they have two sons, Tyler (Alyson) and Adam. In addition to spending time with her family, Kathy enjoys gardening, reading, walking and watching Minnesota sports teams. Kathy is thankful to have been called to ministry first as a youth director, and then as a pastor. Serving God and God’s church is both a privilege and a joy for Pastor Kathy. |
Dave Nissen, Associate Pastor - focus on Children Youth and Family Ministries
davidnissen18@gmail.com Dave joined in the ministry at Our Savior’s in August 2016. He was born and raised in Hutchinson, MN where his parents still live. He attended Gustavus Adolphus College, majoring in religion and minoring in classical languages and music. Right after graduating, he attended Luther Seminary and graduated in the spring of 2016. He has four brothers all of whom live in Minnesota. Alyssa, his wife, teaches First Grade at John Ireland Catholic School in St Peter. Dave and Alyssa welcomed their first child, Theo, in April of 2019. Their second child, Eloise, arrived in April 2022! When he’s not at church, you can find Dave fishing, reading, woodworking, playing with his dog Goliath (get it... David and Goliath) or playing instruments and singing. |
Shannon Stuckey, Director of Music Ministries
shannon@oursaviorsnewulm.org Shannon has been at OSLC since January 2001. She taught voice and other music classes at Gustavus Adolphus College for 16 years as an adjunct professor before coming to Our Savior’s. She earned her undergraduate degree from St. Olaf College and her masters from the University of Michigan–Ann Arbor. Her role includes assisting with worship planning, accompanying the choirs, and working with the children’s choir. “Hearing the whole congregation singing is what makes me happy,” she says. She and her husband Scott, who teaches at the Middle School, have three children. Ellen (Stephen) lives in Ames, Iowa with two sons; Martha, who lives in Minneapolis; and Tyler (Abigail), who also lives in Minneapolis. In her spare time, she loves to read, garden, do crossword puzzles, and bake. |
Jen Geiger, Church Office Administrator
jen@oursaviorsnewulm.org Jen joined the OSLC team in October 2018 as the Office Administrator. Prior to coming to Our Savior's, Jen spent 12 years as a paralegal in Winona and the Twin Cities. Jen and her husband, Matt, are both NUHS graduates, and have one son. Jen enjoys teaching him how to cook and bake, playing with their cat Kirby, knitting, and cheering for the Twins, Vikings, and Wild. |
Caryn Nelson, Business Administrator
caryn@oursaviorsnewulm.org Caryn joined the staff in June 2021. Prior to coming to Our Savior’s, Caryn spent 20 years working in the business office at Madelia Hospital and Clinic, and a year and a half as the Office Administrator at Bethel Church in Mankato. She and her husband, Drew, live a few miles north of Madelia. They have three adult children: Caitlyn, Hailey, and Colton. They are also new grandparents to granddaughters Emmary and Jolie, and are looking forward to a grandson this fall. Caryn enjoys exploring the beautiful state of Minnesota with her husband, and spending time with family. |
Lindsay Medina, Education Ministry Coordinator
lindsay@oursaviorsnewulm.org Lindsay Medina joined the OLSC team in August 2018, as the Education Ministry Coordinator. She has a passion for working in the church, and truly enjoys spending time with her church family. Lindsay was born and raised in New Ulm. Lindsay has two children, Kane and Kru. She enjoys spending time with them, making memories and enjoying life together. |
