Worship Schedule
During this Pandemic our schedule has shifted a couple of times. Currently, on Sunday mornings we worship at 9am and 10:30am on the front lawn of the church; the 9am service can be streamed on Facebook Live. We also have a Wednesday evening service at 6:30pm. This is the same service that was done on the previous Sunday. You can also find our Worship service broadcasting on the Local Access Channel on Monday at 7pm and on Thursday at 5pm.
Worship Details
We have been doing worship on the front lawn, in cars, and on Facebook Live (later posted on Youtube and the Local Access Channel) during this summer. This gives plenty of opportunities to worship as you feel most safe.
If you are worshiping on the lawn, bring a lawn chair (and maybe some bug spray) and find a spot to sit. We have staff to help guide those attending worship to make sure proper social distancing is followed. Masks are highly encouraged, but not required.
If you feel more comfortable worshiping in your car, you can park along the street or in the lot across from the front of the church and tune your radio to 90.1 FM. We use an FM Transmitter so you can listen and join us in worship where you feel most safe.
Finally we have our online/TV options. Our 9am worship service is streamed live over Facebook Live www.facebook.com/oslcnewulm . This service will then be availabe to watch anytime on Facebook, as well as on our Youtube Channel: www.youtube.com/channel/UCxpbEScTa-J9LpTiD4z45jA . The service is also broadcast on the Local Access Channel on Monday at 7pm and on Thursday at 5pm.
We've been practicing Communion since the beginning of July. We do this by having worshipers (in person, on Facebook live, or even later in the week) bring their own communion supplies: bread, crackers, juice, wine (if worshiping with us in person, please bring juice rather than wine). We bless the elements together and celebrate the meal with all Christians around the world, in every time and place.
Some people worship in a suit or dress, some in khakis and skirts, some in cargo shorts and jeans, and now, some worship at home on their couch. We welcome you as you are!
Thanks for your interest in OSLC! If you would like to contact us, call the church office (507-233-4430) or email one of our pastors.
