Caring Ministries

I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.
John 10:10

The role of a Friendly Visitor is a Care-Giver; God is the Cure-Giver. Friendly Visitors listen, empathize, pray and provide emotional and spiritual support to hurting people. God works in and through our Friendly Visitors to bring hope and healing.
Are you or someone you know feeling lonely, experiencing a crisis, struggling through a difficult time or simply finding yourself stressed by everyday life? Sometimes it helps to talk with someone who isn’t family, someone who isn’t necessarily a close friend, pastor, teacher, or counselor.

Are you:
  • Hospitalized?
  • Grieving the loss of a loved one?
  • Lonely?
  • Depressed?
  • Separated or in the process of divorce?
  • Shut-in?
  • Experiencing the birth of a child?
  • Dying, or the family of those who are terminally ill?
  • Experiencing loss of job, or financial setbacks?
  • A family member in trouble with the law?
  • New to our parish?
  • Inactive members of our parish?
  • Struggling with your faith in God?

If you would like to be visited by the pastors or by a Friendly Visitor, please call the church office
(507-233-4430) or email one of our pastors.
Please consider emailing Pastor Dave about becoming a friendly visitor.
