The role of a Friendly Visitor is a Care-Giver; God is the Cure-Giver. Friendly Visitors listen, empathize, pray and provide emotional and spiritual support to hurting people. God works in and through our Friendly Visitors to bring hope and healing.
Are you or someone you know feeling lonely, experiencing a crisis, struggling through a difficult time or simply finding yourself stressed by everyday life? Sometimes it helps to talk with someone who isn’t family, someone who isn’t necessarily a close friend, pastor, teacher, or counselor.
