Pastor Joyce Tollefson-Capp

Joyce graduated from St. Cloud State University with a B.S. degree in Special Education. She taught Senior High Special Education for three years in Morris, MN and then worked with Inter Varsity Christian Fellowship, a college ministry organization for seven years. Joyce graduated from Luther Seminary and have served three ELCA congregations.
-Hope Lutheran, Summit, South Dakota for seven years
-St. Luke’s Lutheran, Franklin, Minnesota
-Our Savior’s Lutheran, New Ulm, where she currently serves as Associate Pastor and ministry includes missions, women’s ministry, and fellowship events
Joyce is married to Ron who is a machinist and works for Hutchinson Technology. Joyce really loves to travel and has visited Norway, Germany, Italy, Japan, Iceland, Newfoundland, Prince Edward Island, New Brunswick, and Nova Scotia. She delights in about seeing and appreciating the diversity of cultures and landscapes that God has made. We have an amazing God who freely lavishes and gives us so many beautiful, grandiose, and tiny parts of creation. Joyce’s other love is reading and she enjoys all types of books from biographies to mysteries to practical Christianity
